We can provide butlers anywhere, from our head office in Paisley near Glasgow, in Scotland. Our bespoke butlers are available for weddings, shooting parties, events, and lifestyle management. Simeon Rosset is the owner and Head Butler. After working at Leeds Castle as a Head Butler, Simeon has gone on to work with many prestigious clients. With over 16 years of experience in the industry, he has worked as an exclusive international butler in castles, shooting estates, super yachts, and palaces across Europe. He has worked with a range of high-profile clients, from royalty and A list celebrities. He is a regular butler for shooting parties in Scotland, society weddings, banquets, house parties and large corporate events.
About The Rosset Butler Academy
The Rosset Butler Academy is the premier butler training school in Scotland. We offer courses to suit all levels of training and experience. We will train you in every aspect of what it is to be a top-level butler including: Service at table, care of antique silver, looking after the Gentleman’s wardrobe, etiquette and protocol, PA duties, house management and so much more.
Rosset Bespoke Butler Courses
Unlike most butler schools, our courses are bespoke, one-on-one courses or small groups of up to six, run by an experienced butler who still works in the industry. We send you out a questionnaire that allows us to assess the level of knowledge you have now and what your dream position would be. We will then tailor a course to take you from one to the other.
Two-week course (12 day) £2000 non-residential, near Glasgow. Using the skills you already have as a strong base, a two-week intensive course will be written personally for you. At the end of the course (assuming you complete the training to a satisfactory level) you will receive: A personal letter of recommendation, a photo booklet showing your progress and skills, a certificate of completion. The course covers aspects such as: general cooking, security, care of valuable antiques and paintings, arranging logistics, organising maintenance and more.
Four-week course (24 day) £4000 non-residential near Glasgow. This is the same as above, but, in much more detail. At the end of the course (assuming you complete the training to a satisfactory level) you will receive: A personal letter of recommendation, a photo booklet showing your progress and skills, a certificate of completion. You will also be personally introduced to a top London agency to help you on your way in a new career as a butler.
• Master Class (6 day). This is perfect for someone who has worked for a considerable amount of time in a similar role; like room service or banqueting and would like to move across into a new field. £800 non-residential, accommodation can be found at extra cost.
• Foundation Class (4 day) - this course is suitable for someone who is yet undecided as to what they want to do and would like an introductory taster session. We will briefly look at all aspects of the roles of butler, valet, and house manager. £550 non-residential.
All courses are advertised as non-residential, however, bed and breakfast can be supplied at an extra cost.
All courses are advertised as taking place in the Glasgow area. They can however, take place anywhere in the world, for an additional charge.
